Insurance can be confusing.
Insurance can be confusing at the best of times with so many grey areas and miscommunication, and the saying is true for the removals industry. There are websites from removals companies, insurance companies, and other organisations that have conflicting information. I don’t claim to be an expect when it comes to insurance; however, there are a few things I have learnt during my many years in the removals industry that I believe you should know.
My tips for navigating insurance:
1. Do your research and find out what is and isn’t included.
2. Understand and know the different between comprehensive and transit insurance.
3. Assess the risk and make decisions based on what is best for your move. It’s not one size fits all.
